It has a diameter of 28mm, a Quartz movement and is Swiss made with a Stainless Steel case and bracelet dated 2011. With a fluted crown set with a synthetic cabochon – shaped spinel, silvered opaline dial, Roman numerals, blued-steel sword-shaped hands and a sapphire crystal. Interchangeable bracelet.

This watch is presented in its original luxury padded red leather or leather effect embossed Cartier presentation box with a gold gilt clasp, which is in excellent condition, together with a luxury red leather or leather effect embossed Cartier book that opens up into 3 parts which includes a DVD and a Certificate of Authenticity. The protective white cardboard Cartier cover box is also included.

This elegant and timeless Cartier design gives the impression of a balloon hovering above the wearers wrist. This watch is made from stainless steel and benefits from a 30 meter water resistance. Crafted in Switzerland, this Ballon de Bleu Cartier watch has some stunning design features. The watch was purchased new from Dubai Airport Duty Free at Dubai International Airport on 18th January 2011, as the original documents show and has had only one careful owner. The Cartier RRP for this watch is $4,850.

Condition

This watch is in excellent condition with light surface scratches consistent with its age and use. Its luxury padded red leather or leather effect and gold embossed Cartier presentation box is in perfect external condition. The original white leather effect cushion holding the watch in position in the box had significant flaking on the surface so has been removed and replaced with two leather effect cushions – one on top of the other. There is some surface flaking around the square area that holds the cushions. At the base of the square area is a Cartier booklet. The protective white cardboard box has some tears at the corners but is in otherwise good condition.
