A pair of fabulous tall Whitefriars Kingfisher blue knobbly glass vases pattern number 9612 c.1968.
Designed by William Wilson and Harry Dyer, the range was first introduced in 1964 with various colours and patterns and these vases are probably from 1968.
They comprise a heavy thick walled vase in Kingfisher blue encased in clear glass with a grind polished pontil base.

This vases are in excellent condition apart from two very small "dinks" on each vase as photographed. There are some very small air bubbles in the glass as part of the original glass manufacturing process.
